Seems the Shipyard has the need for my presence in Japan, I leave Monday the 11th of August. I will be packed into a wide body airplane with some 400 passengers sharing an arm rest and just hoping dial soap or Zest (feel Zestfully Clean) has been used by all. My return is to be Sept 30th but then again I do work for the Government so subject to change. Donna leaves again for a week on the 7th of August … So with that in mind… The JO Ball is in October 10 thru 12th, with the main entertainment being on the 11th. This year's theme will be "THE RED CARPET” (a night at the Oscars). Yes, this like all Junior Officer Balls will be a dressy affair or a costume event, so start thinking of a Hollywood character you would like to arrive walking on "The RED CARPET" as. There will be a sign up sheet posted so sign up and rub elbows with some of the biggest and best stars of BYC. If you would like to help on the committee, show off your talent, sing ,dance or tell jokes and would like to perform on stage or have any questions please call Donna or the R/C John Rosendale.
