Seasons Greetings everyone! My social responsibilities will be picking up here in December. But first, I would like to thank Connie and Cal Ormiston for the October Breakfast. It was a very nice event even thou there was a light turn out. PC Mike and Abby Dunn are chairing the November Breakfast which is on Nov. 22nd which is after the Towline deadline. I'm sure it will be a splendid breakfast also. December 4th is the first BYC Family Christmas Party. I thought I would try this combination party to see how your participation will be. Hopefully we have a good turn out as it may or may not be after the Towline comes out. This party combines the previous Children's Christmas Party, Tree Trimming Party and Santa's gifts from the Christmas dinner into one FAMILY Christmas Party. Everyone is invited, including your children. Please insure if you bring your children, you also bring a gift for Santa to present to your children, just as we used to do at the Children's Christmas Party. Santa will also have some presents for some "special" adults. We are planning on having crafts for the children to make their own Christmas Tree Ornament and they can also decorate their own Christmas cookie. This is a POTLUCK and is a no cost party so, there are no excuses for not attending. I'm sure it will be a wonderful way to kick off the Christmas season. December 18 and 19th is the lighted boat parade. The BYC Fleet Captain will have more on this. I just wanted to invite everyone participating in the parade to come up to the clubhouse afterwards for a hot buttered Rum and share your storied of the evening's parade. Happy Holidays, RC Leo and Stacy Longenecker |
