We have completed another great summer and four great picnics in
the park. The new shelter provided a great setting for the picnics. I
would like to thank Gerri Bachman, and her committee, for a great
picnic
on September 9th. It was very well planned and executed. I really
liked the variety of salads everyone brought. Just a note, the picnics
where a main item was provided and you were asked to contribute a side
dish, at a minimal cost, were the picnics that went over the best, the
best turn outs. My next upcoming events are the Sunday Breakfasts.

and Connie Ormiston are chairing the October Breakfast on October 18th.
Please sign up so we have an idea how much food to purchase. Please
show Cal and Connie your support. The November breakfast is chaired by
PC Mike and Abby Dunn on November 22nd. Again, another opportunity to
meet with your BYC friends and enjoy. These two breakfasts are
supposed
to be the same day as BYC power and sail competitions, if there is
enough participation. More from the regatta chairs on that later.

It isn't too early to start thinking about the lighted boat
parade. It's in December, and now is a good time to start building
your
display extravaganza.
