At our next General Meeting on Dec 6th we will have a Guest Speaker
from the U.S. Coast Guard a Mr. Dan Shipman who will speak of changes
to the Homeland Security Act, and how that affects us recreational
boaters.
You may have already heard that our Caretaker has given notice of his
departure; Donnie Sherwood will be leaving us the end of November. I
have therefore asked Captain Chuck Silvernail to advertise the position
of Caretaker to find a suitable replacement.
The A String Whaler Replacement is almost finished at this writing. The
electricians are busy replacing the Electrical Meter bases at this
time. We will also be upgrading to 30amp receptacles on the entire A
String.
The Wastewater Committee Chairman Dave Cordodor is still looking for a
few members on his committee. This is an excellent opportunity for you
newer members to earn service points to gain moorage or improve your
moorage location. Give Dave a call.
The BYC Annual will be available at the Club Store by the time you
receive this Towline.
BYC has signed a contract with Northwest Pump to install a card reader
system for the fuel pumps. Time frame given is two to three weeks for
installation, testing and training.
