As I sit at the computer to write these comments, it is two days before the Lighted Boats Parade and the Santa requests are still coming in by the droves! It is very heartening to know that all our efforts are being appreciated by the community and are eagerly awaited each year. Using Microsoft's latest Streets & Trips program with GPS input has proved to be a tremendous asset in tracking the sites for Santa's announcements. With twenty six boats in the Parade each night, it will be/ was quite an occasion! Thanks to all those skippers who decorated their boats and participated in the Parade. Between this event, the Special People's Cruise, and donations to the Bremerton Food Bank and Salvation Army, we should feel proud for what we have done during this holiday season and know that we have made a difference.

A reminder that the January 3rd General Meeting is the time to signup for Railway Haul Outs and begin think about the coming boating season.

Heavy Weather Weekend is rapidly approaching and will be upon us before we know it. The Winter Work Party is scheduled for the 12th and 13th of February so if you need work party time, signup now. There are many things to be done around the Club in order catch up on needed projects and to be ready for HW.

In closing, I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank all who gave so much of their time and talent to make this Holiday Season at BYC such a success. I do not list individuals as I am always fearful of leaving someone out, but you know who you are and I am most grateful for your help and advice.
