Harstene Island Land Cruise 2009

Attached are some pictures taken at the BYC RVers rendezvous at the Teamster's Union Local 313 RV Park on Harstine Island during the weekend of 25-27 September 2009. Eighteen rigs showed up with approximately 45 people counting those who drove down on Sat and Sun. Fun was had by all.

"Mona Lisa and Mike Ryan were the Trail Bosses for the weekend and
kept us all busy throughout the time we were there. Playing games like geezer golf and bingo as well as sitting around the campfire at night roasting marshmallows, playing with "wampom sticks" and buying whole salmon during the day from the Squaxin tribe fishing the salmon runs along the shore in front of the campsite, were a few of the entertaining things we did to keep busy. On Saturday night a potluck dinner was enjoyed by all at the Teamster's clubhouse.


To cap it all of were the beautiful sunsets seen over Squaxin island seen across the water from the campground.

One picture of note is the group shot of the six PC's and their wives who attended. Shown from left to right are Mike and Abbie Dunn, Garry and Jo Carr, Charlie and Sharron Billings, Bill and Clair Burwell, Don and Flo Floyd, Lorrin and Nila Walsh, and sitting in the front is Ted and Mary Morneau. "
