Regatta for Power
BYC has had some very successful representation at the March IPBA
log races. P/C Mike and Billie Henry took Second over all in the MBYC
Boomerang contest and Second overall in the Gig Harbor contest.
Captain Owen and Linda Ritter took Fifth overall in the Eagle Harbor
contest and P/C Henry came in 16th. Good Job to the persistent log
racers of BYC.
Upcoming events are the Poulsbo Rainier IPBA contest scheduled for
May 13th. Logs are online at the IPBA web site. The BYC Ladies Day
contest is scheduled for May 21st. Logs will be out soon.
This is my last article as Regatta for Power. It has been an
enjoyable and fruitful year being in charge of the Log Racing. BYC
took home many trophies including the Heavy Weather trophy and team
trophy. It has been a rewarding year. Now as I look forward to the
upcoming year as Fleet Captain, I can sit back and relax from the
grueling schedule.
