"But when Bremerton Yacht Club and Brownsville Marina considered what had
happened in Port Orchard and Edmonds, they counted themselves lucky.
Well, maybe not so much lucky as dedicated. Leo Longnecker, vice commodore
of the Bremerton Yacht Club, said: 'It survived because we're a yacht
club.
Volunteers from Friday morning on were shoveling snow and knocking snow
off boat sheds.'"
